Birgunj Customs Collects Rs 23.46 Billion Revenue in Bhadra

The Birgunj Customs Office collected Rs 23.46 billion 15 lakh in revenue during Bhadra of the current fiscal year 2083/84 BS, covering the period from August 17 to September 16. The collection represents 99.75% of the office’s monthly revenue target. According to Customs Office spokesperson Purna Prasad Lamsal, the office has achieved 14.52% of its annual revenue target by mid-September. In terms of import value and revenue contribution, major imported commodities include biscuits, pulses, textiles and garments, industrial raw materials, and food grains.
