Flood Alert: Vehicles Halted From Kathmandu Toward Rasuwa, Dhading and Chitwan

A severe flood flowing from China through the Bhotekoshi River toward the Trishuli River has prompted authorities to halt outbound traffic from Kathmandu Valley as a precautionary measure. The Kathmandu Valley Traffic Police Office has stopped vehicles heading toward Dhading, Rasuwa and Chitwan from the Nagdhunga and Bhimdhunga checkpoints, citing potential risks to roads and areas near the river. Police have urged travelers not to proceed toward the affected districts until the situation becomes safer, stressing that the traffic restriction has been imposed to prevent possible accidents and protect public safety.
