According to the Prime Minister's Secretariat, the Cabinet is scheduled to convene at 3:30 PM at the Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers in Singha Durbar. Sources indicate that a primary agenda for today's meeting is the highly anticipated appointment of the Chairperson for the Securities Board of Nepal (SEBON), the country's capital market regulator. The selection committee under the Ministry of Finance has already narrowed down the pool of 47 applicants to a final shortlist of four candidates.
