Siddhartha Bank Donates Rs. 2.51 Crore for BhoteKoshi Flood Relief

Siddhartha Bank has provided Rs. 25.1 million (Rs. 2.51 crore) to the Prime Minister’s Disaster Relief Fund for the relief and rehabilitation of citizens affected by the devastating floods in the BhoteKoshi and Trishuli river systems. The bank handed over the financial assistance in Kathmandu, stating that the contribution was aimed at supporting immediate relief, rescue operations and long-term rehabilitation in areas severely affected by the floods and natural disasters. The bank said the contribution reflects its commitment to corporate social responsibility and its intention to stand with affected communities during the difficult period. Siddhartha Bank also expressed condolences to those who lost their lives in the disaster and extended sympathies to the bereaved families. It further wished for the speedy recovery of those injured and expressed hope that ongoing efforts by the government and concerned agencies would help restore normal life in the affected communities.
