NEPSE has updated the trading price for United Modi Hydropower (UMHL) following its 7% bonus share book closure.
The benchmark Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) has successfully adjusted the market value of United Modi Hydropower Limited (UMHL). Based on the previous closing price of Rs. 646, the new price has been fixed at Rs. 603.74 to account for a 7% bonus share distribution. This adjustment marks the "Ex-Dividend" date, meaning new buyers will no longer be eligible for the current year's bonus. The company is set to formally endorse this payout at its upcoming 12th AGM, along with a small cash dividend of 0.36842% to cover shareholder tax obligations.
