NEPSE climbed 22.85 points (0.87%) on the final trading session of the week, closing at 2,647.22, with total turnover reaching Rs. 6.74 arba.

NEPSE Gains 22.85 Points to Close at 2,647; Turnover Surges to Rs. 6.74 Arba

The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) posted a double-digit gain on the last trading day of the week, advancing 22.85 points (0.87%) to close at 2,647.22. The index had gained 11.93 points in the previous trading session. The benchmark index opened at 2,626.83 and fluctuated between an intraday high of 2,647.48 and a low of 2,614.12 before closing at 2,647.22. A total of 21,272,761 shares were traded across 345 companies through 64,072 transactions, generating a turnover of Rs. 6.74 arba. The total market capitalization stood at Rs. 45.53 kharba, while float market capitalization reached Rs. 15.43 kharba. Kumari Bank Limited (KBL) topped the turnover chart with transactions worth Rs. 32.13 crore, closing at Rs. 227 per share. Meanwhile, Snow Rivers Limited (SNORL) led the gainers, rising 13.66% to Rs. 1,057. Hathway Investment Nepal Limited (HATHY) recorded the highest decline, falling 15% to Rs. 499.80. Among the sectoral indices, the Banking SubIndex posted the highest gain of 1.59%, while the Others Index recorded the highest decline, falling 0.11%.
