Bhujung Hydropower Appoints New Board at 4th AGM
Bhujung Hydropower Limited has successfully hosted its 4th Annual General Meeting in Kathmandu, approving its annual financial accounts and electing a new leadership board across promoter and public shareholder categories.
Bhujung Hydropower Limited successfully concluded its 4th Annual General Meeting (AGM) at the Amrapali Banquet, marking a pivotal moment in the company's fiscal lifecycle. The assembly served as a strategic forum where corporate leadership and equity stakeholders aligned on long-term value creation. Shareholders actively participated in the review and subsequent ratification of the company’s comprehensive annual report and audited financial statements, validating the firm's fiscal discipline and operational resilience. Beyond historical balance sheets, the executive management unveiled an aggressive capital allocation and infrastructure expansion strategy aimed at optimizing energy generation and scaling up retail investor returns. A primary highlight of the session was the reconfiguration of the company’s corporate governance architecture through a formal board election. The newly minted board successfully bridges veteran institutional insight—via promoter representatives Madhav Raj Acharya, Dr. Himal Bhattarai, Rajeshwar Duwal, Tank Prasad Subedi, and Santosh Shrestha—with minority investor advocacy, represented by Jelina Shrestha. Additionally, the strategic induction of Rita Gautam as an independent director injects critical, unbiased market expertise into the executive committee. The event drew to a close with an optimistic outlook on the company's market trajectory, as stakeholders expressed absolute confidence in the newly structured leadership team's capacity to navigate complex energy markets and drive robust asset growth.
