NIMB Donates Rs. 4.01 Crore to Flood Relief Fund

Nepal Investment Mega Bank Limited (NIMB) has provided Rs. 4.01 crore to the Prime Minister’s Disaster Relief Fund to support search, rescue, relief and rehabilitation efforts for citizens affected by the devastating flood in the BhoteKoshi River in Rasuwa district. The bank said the financial assistance is intended to support ongoing rescue and relief operations amid the widespread human and physical damage caused by natural disasters in several districts, including Rasuwa, Nuwakot, Dhading, Gorkha, Tanahun and Chitwan. The disasters have severely disrupted the daily lives and livelihoods of residents in the affected areas. NIMB expressed its condolences to the families who lost loved ones in the floods and paid tribute to those who died in the disaster. The bank also wished for the safe rescue of people who remain missing and a speedy recovery for those injured in the floods. The contribution reflects the bank’s support for emergency response and rehabilitation efforts at a time when affected communities continue to face the consequences of the disaster.
